As the seasons change, so must our actions in raising cybersecurity awareness internally and externally as an organization. The leaves are changing colors, the temperature is getting colder, and the holiday season is right around the corner. Wrapping up October and Cyber Security Awareness Month and the year’s campaign theme - “See Yourself in Cyber” - at OSIS, we are sharing the message that while cybersecurity may seem like a complex subject, it is really all about people. It is essential to emphasize the role each individual plays in online safety, and stress the importance of taking proactive steps to enhance cybersecurity at home and in the workplace. Moving into the holiday season, this article will highlight new scams to avoid falling for and how users of all ages can stay safe on the internet by practicing good cyber hygiene.
